As mother’s day rolls around, it’s important to discuss the distinctions between two similar, sometimes confused, but altogether different species – the MILF and the Cougar.

Let’s start with the basics.  MILFs are by definition mothers.  Cougars, not necessarily.  MILFs can start young – a twenty-six year old soccer mom can qualify as a great MILF.  Cougars tend to be older, a bit past their prime, I’d say at least 45+.  (And don’t be offended ladies as I’m not too far away from cougardom myself).  Cougars can be mothers or grandmothers but don’t have to be.  

The main differences I believe however stem from the very nature of the beasts. 

MILFs are mothers who you’d like to F.  Cougars, on the other hand want to F you.  I should note that some claim a MILF is also always a cougar (example – Stiffler’s mom), but a cougar is not always a MILF.  Cougars are in essence, sexual predators.  Ivana Trump, Janice Dickinson or Nina Van Horn from the TV show ‘Just Shoot Me’ are all prototypical cougars.  They can be found at the gym, spas, and trendy hot spots over by the bar sipping martinis.

Pure MILFs are attractive soccer moms, PTA moms, working moms or moms who stay home and bake cookies for Johnnie and all his friends when they come over after school.  Some MILFs are completely naive they are perceived as such while others are perfectly aware of their MILFy status as the strut around the house in designer sweats with “Juicy” written across the butt, a declaration that stretches into perfect clarity as they bend over to pour the milk.

In a nutshell, MILFs are moms you’d like to F, while cougars are older women who like to F young studs.
